The singer who wish to face this series of lessons will study the following program:
– Physiology of singing, exercise to develop the voice as instrument
– work on the vocal chords
– the slur
– Acquisition of the vocal technique of the three vocal register, coordination of the muscolar process for singing.
– training for the tensor muscle of the vocal chords for a correct setting of the acute register
– CC1 OPERA- VOCAL TECHNIQUE
(20 hours of Italian course of language + 2 lessons per week with the singing teacher)
The course is suitable both for professional and beginner singers, which even with previous experiences, are still thinking they need a correct use of the voice
The courses are held by lyric singers that once had finished their artistic career, started teaching to young talents their knowledge and experience.
– CC1-A READING LIBRETTOS
(20 hours of Italian language course + 3 hours of reading librettos per week)
The Italian spoken into librettos is very far from Italian nowadays language. For that reason is very important to study the librettos and compare it with modern Italian language in the way to have an updated interpretation according to the modern tastes and better appreciate the lyrics and the music. (Rigoletto, Traviata, Aida…)
– CC1-B HISTORY OF ITALIAN OPERA
(20 hours of Italian language course + 3 hours of history of Italian opera per week)
The evolution of the Italian music drama through the study of the main operas. You will be given useful materials to analyze the historical-cultural setting of the examined operas.
– CC1-C HISTORY OF MUSIC
(20 hours of Italian language course + 3 hours of history of music per week)
From Greeks up to day, Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism. A look at the history of music with a special consideration for the history of the opera in Italy from 17th century to 19th century: the movements, the styles, the most famous composers and their main works, the singers, the most famous directors.
